There aren't too many "real" taverns left in Ottawa, but The Elmdale House sure is an old time Tavern, and we love it that way. The "Dale" is your place for peace of mind (or is it "a peace of mind"). lol The ambiance will remind you of a place long forgotten or finally found (they don't make 'em like they used to). You see, you may walk in a stranger, but you'll leave a regular because The Elmdale is like a home, and the people are like family to anyone that walks in.
