This has to be one of the worst placed to eat in downtown Ottawa, but that does not stop them from charging prices that imply it is one of the best. The food, if you miraculously get any service, arrived cold and a full hour after it had been ordered. During this time, there were no visits from the waitress to possibly ask if more drinks were in order.
It is a tourist trap. The Cornerstone gets attention because of its open concept and wrap around patio. The actual quality of food and service has to be the worst I have seen in the markett.

I want to like this place... don't get me wrong, I continually keep going back here hoping it will get better.
They have got to get their act together in the kitchen. Food is always cold.. and always takes too long
And by far the biggest issue i have with this place is the drinks. If you order a 'double' u will get 1.5oz of alcohol.
I've sent back my drinks countless times.
like i said, I want to like this place, please CLEAN UP YOUR ACT.

took the waitress 30 mins to bring our drinks to us.
Basically, we were sitting at a table, with nothing (no drinks or food) for that long.

That doesn't surprise me at all, the service here is the worst I've experienced in the market to date.

If you go here, make sure you don't wear heels and trip on the stairs, because they'll assume you're intoxicated and not serve you. They will also ignore you for a half hour before they even acknowledge that you may be sitting there for some reason other than staring at the ceiling. The service here is worse than horrible, It took us over 40 minutes to order an appetizer.
This was just last night, I've gone to the patio here before during the day, we waited a full hour just to sit down. It took 20 minutes just to get our first drink, which they served severely watered down. They fixed the pour but they were definitely not nice about it.
I will never go back to this place, they don't deserve the business.

I have to agree, this place is just like every other york venue, they care about taking your money and nothing else... If you want a classy restaurant go to play, social, even blue cactus... They actually give off the impression that they want you to enjoy your experience with them.
